TRUCKEE MEADOWS TRAILS CHALLENGE

The Crooked Mile

Saturday, February 24th at 9:00am

On this two-mile hike we will be exploring the Crooked Mile between the Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation office in Idlewild Park and Ivan Sack Park. With great views of the Truckee River and Oxbow Nature Study Area, this will be a great winter stroll for everyone to enjoy! Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. Restrooms are available.

JUNIOR NATURALIST PROGRAM  

Over 60 kids received their first stamp in their Junior Naturalist passport in January. Kids earned their stamp for Idlewild Park by exploring weather patterns, creating wind socks, discovering cloud formations, and completing a scavenger hunt.

Get your stamp for Teglia’s Paradise Park on February 10th.
