Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, in cooperation with our partners at the Alzheimer's Association, the Sanford Center for Aging, and the Reno Senior Citizen Advisory Committee, offers a free, weekly series of interpretive walks specially-designed for individuals living with dementia and their care partners. This is a chance for those living with dementia to surround themselves with the serenity of nature, as well as a supportive group of friends. | | |

Join us, along with REI and American Rivers, in restoring one of the last traces of wetland habitat in the Truckee Meadows. The property formerly known as the Rosewood Lakes Golf Course is currently in a state of ecological ruin due to an accumulation of unnatural debris and invasive plant species. We need your help to clean up this wetland before it’s too late! Lunch will be provided for volunteers. Register before June 8th to receive a free t-shirt!
